With 12 million Francilians travelling on average 4 times a day, public transport networks in France are saturated, with a travel ratio per vehicle x km more than 2.5 times higher than the average outside Ile-de-France. Disruptions are therefore frequent and information about these problems and possible solutions is considered as a “due” by travellers, as his safety.
This situation led the Transport Organizing Authority, Ile-de-France Mobilités, to launch a national challenge to rethink passenger information in a disturbed situation and implement it as closely as possible to the expectations of users.
Nextérité is one of the three winners of this challenge, which received 21 applications. We look forward to implementing our solution in France, which will allow users to receive targeted alerts in real time, as well as proposals for alternatives.
